Hacettepe University Faculty of Law, which commenced its undergraduate education in 2012-2013 Academic Year and produced its first graduates in June 2016, aims to raise distinguished lawyers and academicians who can actively participate in the law-making process, contribute to the development of legal culture and awareness of justice, who can closely follow and evaluate problems of the country and the world and who is capable of interpreting and evaluating these problems not only from legal but also from philosophical and sociological perspectives.
Encouraging students to in-depth legal research and including the scientific research in the education process are among our objectives. In the course of time, experience has shown that professional success at sufficient level cannot be achieved without academic knowledge. Our Faculty aims to teach our students how to reach the necessary knowledge they need both at their academic and professional life and how to conduct research.
As of today, our Faculty offers three doctoral programs, one of which is a joint program with Anadolu University, and four graduate programs, two of which are non-thesis master's programs.
Our students, through the national and international student exchange programs to which our Faculty is a party to, have the chance of studying at different universities in Turkey and abroad for certain periods of time. Our faculty continues its educational activities in its fully-equipped building which is situated on Beytepe Campus.
